MELBIR was founded in 2025 by a group of mates from south east england who just love meeting up and having a laugh both on and off the bikes. 

At the end of summer we had a vision, and dedicated ourselves to developing and expanding our community through online presence and spent more time than ever riding

Every day, after work we spent our time riding, shaping, fixing, and progressing our riding spots. Recognising the significance of what we were creating, we decided to name the bike group MELBIR - as a combination of our names.

Since then, we’ve met so many new members to our community who have joined us as we began to expand. 

We are just a group of young lads united by a shared passion for mountain biking and a clear vision: to create the best MTB gear for riders of all backgrounds. Our journey began on local trails, where we discovered the freedom of exploration and the thrill of adventure. Frustrated by the commercial and profit focused nature of clothing companies, we want to take matters into our own hands and create something genuinely focused on simply building a huge community of riders - a quality that's few and far between.

With a strong commitment to quality and performance, we set out to design and develop affordable, high-quality equipment that empowers riders at every level. 

At MELBIR, we believe everyone deserves access to our community, whether that be through repping the clothing or simply just following along online.
